Genesis

Thanks to God's amazing power, love and wisdom, blessed through Jack Owens unto me and a bunch of other studs, I was inspired to finally give an appropriate title for my blog, which will "officially" launch my blog, which means that I will be updating this frequently-occasionally. I have been blogging on myspace for quite some time and I feel it is time to move away from that.

It will be an awesome journey and adventure. Ride along and I hope we will experience it all together to see bits and pieces of life.

Well, if you haven't noticed the blog title is: poiēma. In case you are curious, it comes from Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do," which totally reflects all of what Paul talks about from Ephesians 2:1-10. It is the literal Greek word for 'workmanship'. Rooted 'poieo' which is 'I make'. The english word 'poem' comes from this. Poems are beautiful works of art you can say that are created, are made.

Hence, We are God's created divine design, His poem, His creation, His work of art, His workmanship, His masterpiece in CHRIST JESUS. For All of His Glory.

To do good works. Not so we can be saved, but in obedience after we have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus. Glory be to Jesus!
