Who would have thought that sitting in a cubicle on the computer for 8 hrs would be so tough. Now I understand why people be complaining about back problems sitting on the office chairs and why people pay 100's of dollars for a super nice office chair... I'm feeling a little wise today so I will share my Proverb highlights and the winner of today's Proverb for you.
The Proverb of the day is Proverb 19. Those marked with an '*' are ones I strongly recommend and enCOURAGE you to memorize.
19:2 - "It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way."
I can totally relate. I find myself with so much passion that I don't know what or how to MAKE the WAY, therefore I find myself talking more than doing. Or I go into something so quick that I didn't spend time praying or seeking council for it, finding myself missing the way.
19:19 - "A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again."
Uh huh. I've rescued a hot-tempered man before, and once again I had to rescue him again on many different occasions.
19:20 - "Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will be wise."
It is a wise thing to accept this advice and instruction.
*19:21 - "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."
This was the winner Proverb of the day for me.
Because I am on a roll, I want to throw one more winner Proverb for you from yesterday.
*Proverb 18:12 - "Before his downfall a man's heart is proud, but humility comes before honor."
